Every summer, the association PRYVIT – Hilfe für Tschernobyl-Kinder e.V. (Help for Chernobyl Children) invites Ukrainian children to Germany for a recuperative stay with health checks. The Academy of Hearing Acoustics has been participating in this project for many years by providing hearing screenings. On August 9, 2025, lecturers tested the hearing of twenty children from Ukraine.

The hearing acoustician craft congratulates 511 journeymen and journeywomen, who successfully completed their vocational training this summer. The official graduation ceremony took place at the Lübeck Music and Congress Hall (MUK) on July 26, 2025. In addition to applause from family and friends, guests of honor from politics and the industry delivered their congratulatory messages.  

On June 04, 2025, the Academy of Hearing Acoustics was once successfully certified according to the challenging “Learner-Oriented quality testing in continued education” (LQW) procedure. One of the most renowned certification bodies for educational institutions in Germany thus confirmed the high quality of the Academy’s educational and administrative processes.

From April 24-26, 2025, lecturers of the Academy have joined the 11th Conference of the Advanced Arab Academy of Audiovestibular (4A) in Amman, Jordania, to share their expertise. With more than 25 member countries, the AHH expert conference is one of the most important meetings for hearing aid professionals, audiologists and ENT specialists in the Middle East and Northern Africa.

For generations, the NDR info radio show „Mikado“ has encouraged children to listen and learn. The show takes up questions from its young listeners and explains interesting facts in an informative and entertaining way. It thus contributes to a better understanding of the world. A team of experts from the Academy of Hearing Acoustics (afh) was recently featured in the Mikado program for young listeners on hearing and the profession of hearing aid professional, which was broadcasted on March 16, 2025.

The last third of the apprenticeship period has started, the journeyman’s examination is approaching and you wish to refresh and practice certain skills again? The Lübeck Academy of Hearing Acoustics offers a special two-day practical training which focuses on additional exam preparation and consolidation of practical knowledge alongside
the regular classes. This training can be booked separately for a fee.

Die Akademie für Hörakustik lädt Eltern mit ihren Kindern im Alter von 6 Monaten bis 5 Jahren aus Lübeck und dem Umland herzlich zur Sprach- und Hörmessung im Rahmen eines Praxistrainings für Pädakustikerinnen und Pädakustiker ein. Anmeldungen von Kindern mit und ohne Hörbeeinträchtigung sind ab sofort per E-Mail ans Service-Team willkommen. Der nächste Termin ist am 10. April 2025.

More than 138 hearing aid acousticians who passed their examinations this winter, have obtained their journeyman/woman’s certificate. The festive award ceremony took place at the Colosseum in Lübeck on February 1, 2025.
