First Aid Class
According to the occupational regulation on the prevention of accidents A 1 § 26, all hearing-aid professional companies are required to at least name and qualify one person as a first aider. The Academy of Hearing Acoustics offers First Aid classes in cooperation with the Red Cross for each block of vocational school training. The costs for the course will be covered directly by the relevant trade association.
Exact dates will be communicated in due time. Registration for these classes will be handled by the administrative staff in the Academy’s service center.

Sign Language
We are sorry, but German Sign Language courses are currently not available.
For a fee of 15€ you can attend classes in German sign language. Information on the times and lists to enroll are available at the service center.

Sale-oriented Counselling
In the 6th block of vocational school training, the Campus Hearing Acoustics offers a seminar on sale-oriented counselling. Supported by the Federal Association of the Hearing Device Industry, apprentices have the opportunity to attend a high-value training in the field of soft skills, communication and sale-oriented counselling offered by coaches of the Pawlik Consulting GmbH.
Apprentices will receive registration forms and access codes for the online competence test with the invitation for the 6th block of vocational school training.

Do you speak „Hearing Acoustics“?!
Your mother tongue is Armenian, Arabic or Russian and sometimes it is difficult for you to understand scientific texts in German and understand the assignments. Where to find help and friends for a study group? Join us at the Language-Learning Group! Together we practice German expert terminology, translate scientific texts – understand assignments – meet new people – form study groups.
All courses – all classes – Block 1 apprentices are particularly welcomed. Personal Counselling – joint solutions: Julian Fischer assists and supports the group.

Bike and Canoe Rental
The association for the education and promotion of junior hearing-aid professionals (school club) aims at contributing to the general education of students at the Federal Vocational School. The club supports all kind of initiatives of intellectual, cultural nature as well as sport activities and, in individual cases, is also able to help out in times of a financial crisis.
Bike Rental:
Available free of charge for members of the school club during their stay in Lübeck. Helps you stay mobile, environmentally friendly and provides a great balance after all these hours of sitting in class. You only need to put down a deposit of 20€ (if possible, please bring exact amount in cash) Bikes will usually be handed out during the first lunch break of the first day of each block of vocational school classes.
Canoe Rental:
Canoe tours – a true highlight on the waterways of the world heritage city of Lübeck. Canoes are available free of charge for members of the school club. Of course, along with the necessary equipment (swimming vests, paddles etc.). Never been in a canoe? The Federal Vocational School offers classes Easter and the fall vacation.

Scholarship Campus Hearing Acoustics
The scholarship Campus Hearing Acoustics supports apprentices in difficult financial situations. It is granted upon application. See the german regulations for more details.
