Learner-oriented quality testing once again certifies high training standards at the Academy
On June 04, 2025, the Academy of Hearing Acoustics was once successfully certified according to the challenging “Learner-Oriented quality testing in continued education” (LQW) procedure. One of the most renowned certification bodies for educational institutions in Germany thus confirmed the high quality of the Academy’s educational and administrative processes.
This certification is not only a significant award, but also a decisive requirement for the implementation of state-subsidized training measures such as master craftsman/woman preparation courses as part of the Meister-BAföG. It takes place every four years and includes a comprehensive self-report, a theoretical examination and a comprehensive on-site visitation procedure.
The procedure does not only focus on educational processes, but also the compliance with self-defined quality objectives, teamwork and the continuous development of the entire organization. The fact that the academy consistently works on implementing the its self-defined standards in everyday life was particularly highlighted during the visit.
„The entire team of the Academy has worked towards this goal with great commitment and perseverance over the past four years. I am therefore more than pleased that we
have now been certified again.“, says Jakob Stephan Baschab, General Manager of the Federal Guild of Hearing Acousticians and Director of the Academy of Hearing Acoustics.
The certification process was concluded with a joint workshop with all those involved, in which strategic goals for the next four years – far beyond the operational requirements of the LQW process.
