Luebeck Mayor visits Campus Hörakustik

Jan Lindenau, Mayor of the Hansetown Luebeck, visited the Campus Hearing Acoustics on October 26, 2023. During a campus tour, he was very impressed by the state-of-the-art equipment and the excellent conditions and environment for vocational training and further education at Germany’s central educational institute for the hearing acoustic craft, which is the largest worldwide.

„Thank you so much for the impressions and insights into a very professionally organized training site, which is of particular importance for the town of Luebeck“ – with these words, mayor Jan Lindenau showed his respect and commended the Hearing Acoustics Campus as an important factor for the educational centre Luebeck.

Director and biha General Manager, Jakob Stephan Baschab, afh Commercial Director, Matthias Reichert, as well as LBS Director of Studies and LBS Principal, Michael Blau, provided a warm welcome for the Mayor and his personal assistant, Janika Köhler. They accompanied the guests on their tour and showed them the various facilities – from fitting rooms to labs, audio-simulation auditorium and multi-media studio with cutting-edge technical equipment.

During the tour, the Luebeck Mayor also learned about the comprehensive further and continued education program of the afh, which is complemented by the very popular international courses for participants from all over the world. The seven boarding homes with more than 1,000 beds for apprentices, participants of courses and guests from Germany and other countries also left a very positive impression.
