Well attended afh workshops at Arab Hearing Health Conference in Jordan
The afh workshops during the 8th Arab Hearing Health Conference organized by the Advanced Arab Academy of Audiovestibulogy (AAAA) in Amman, Kingdom of Jordan, were met with great interest. ENT specialists, audiologists and experts in the field of rehabilitation of hearing impairments from the entire Arab region got together for this expert conference held from May 12 to 14, 2022, for training and continued education.
A team of afh lecturers was also on-site and offered two workshops on the fitting of hearing systems, in-situ measuring, fitting formulae and individual ear molds. They also presented the afh’s new, international E-Learning program.
The partnership with the „Arab Academy of Audiovestibulogy“founded in 2012 has allowed the Campus Hearing Acoustics to further expand their network. The Arab Academy under the leadership of audiologist, Prof. Dr. Khalid Abd Al Hadi, unites 25 countries of the Middle East and Northern Africa in the context of otorhinolaryngology and audiology. For many years now, there is an expert exchange between Prof. Khalid Abd Al Hadi, the audiologists of the AAAA and the Campus Hearing Acoustics. Focus of their talks are mostly training relevant aspects. The afh has been a partner of the AAAA conference from the beginning, made expert contributions and was actively involved in setting up the congress program.
The international congress takes place under the patronage of the mother of the reigning King of Jordan, Her Royal Highness Princess Muna Al Hussein. The Federal Guild of Hearing Aid Acousticians (biha) conveyed their greetings. The afh workshops were well visited, the new E-Learning offer was well received. Numerous registrations for participations have already come in.
