The Hearing Acoustic Craft welcomes the new professionals. After successful completion of the journeyman examination, 192 graduates from all over Germany celebrated the end of their vocational training period on February 4, 2023.\u00a0 Marianne Frickel, biha (Federal Guild of Hearing Acousticians) President for 25 years and passionately committed to the profession, conducted the festive graduation ceremony in line with old-craft traditions in the festive hall of the L\u00fcbeck Kolosseum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In her welcoming address, Pia Steinr\u00fccke, Senator for Economics and Social Affairs of the Hanse city L\u00fcbeck, congratulated the new journeymen to the successful completion of their apprenticeship and to their choice of profession. As highly qualified and system-relevant skilled workers, they contribute to ensuring the supply of hearing systems continues to remain at the highest level, locally available all over Germany, in the future.   <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Stephan Fuesers, Director of Studies of the Federal Vocational School for Hearing Acousticians (LBS), praised the professional preparation for the journeyman examination, and thanked the training companies, LBS teachers, afh lecturers and the examiners for their great work. Christian Willam, Head of the journeyman examinations committees, presented the exam results and honored the top examinees. A musical program rounded of the graduation ceremony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a journeyman certificate, there are many options to take the next steps in your professional career at the afh (Academy of Hearing Acoustics) with many continued education classed, as for example a specialization in pediatric acoustics, tinnitus or CI care or Master Craftsman classes.
