From 15th to 19th of August 2022, 13 hearing aid professionals from 6 different countries participated in \u201cInternational Summer Academy\u201c (ISA) at the Academy of Hearing Acoustics in L\u00fcbeck for improving their skills and sharing knowledge. Advanced training courses in English for an international group of participants have been taking place at the “Campus Hearing Acoustics” for 13 years. Another advanced training course for international professionals is planned at afh in autumn.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Due to the high quality of the ISA training courses at afh and the state-of-the-art equipment at the Campus Hearing Acoustic has developed into an integral part of the Swiss International Hearing Academy (SIHA) global training and education program for aspiring Hearing Care Professionals of Sonova Group.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This summer, SIHA participants traveled from Peru, Saudi Arabia, Greece, Bulgaria, Serbia and Slovenia to L\u00fcbeck to take part in the ISA basic course \u201cHearing Aid Fitting\u201d. A preparatory e-learning program preceded the face-to-face event at the afh. The experienced team of lecturers provided practical instruction in the seminar rooms, laboratories and fitting rooms. After and between the lessons there was time for professional networking and informal exchange of experiences. All participants completed the one-week course in Germany with a certificate after passing an exam.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Campus Hearing Acoustics is the world\u2019s biggest center of competence and training. It has developed into a meeting place for hearing care professionals from all over the world. Over the past thirteen years, guests from more than 30 nations, including audiologists and ENT doctors, have met at the international advanced training courses at afh.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
