The L\u00fcbeck Academy of Hearing Acoustics offers a special two-day practical training which focuses on additional exam preparation and consolidation of practical knowledge alongside the regular classes. This training can be booked separately for a fee.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Practice, practice, practice \u2013 this is the best way to prepare for the exam and give you the necessary confidence. While some practical training content is picked up quickly, other tasks may not come easily to you right away. A revision course in addition to your regular classes may help you to become fit and exam-ready even in areas which you have not fully internalized yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Academy of Hearing Acoustics therefore offers an extra practical training course. It is aimed at apprentices in the last third of their training who wish to refresh and practice what they have learned before the upcoming journeyman\u2019s examination. In this two-day additional course, knowledge and skills in the areas for audiometry and fitting of hearing systems, handling the measuring box and earmolds can be practiced in-depth on the L\u00fcbeck Campus Hearing Acoustics. You will also receive individual feedback from the lecturers who lead the practical training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The tasks which were specifically compiled for this extra training, are based on the practical topics covered in vocational school lessons and inter-company apprentice training. Realistic customer interaction scenarios are played out and participants work on solutions in small groups. For example, functionality checks of hearing aids using the measuring box. Hearing systems from different manufacturers must be programmed in the best possible way according to the specific requirements of the respective task. This will allow you to improve your fitting technique. In addition, you will take ear impressions of each other and analyze the results in the group. Milling different earmolds is also part of these repetition exercises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The practical training enables apprentices to improve their own skills in using the measuring system at the Academy and the vocational school, to optimize the fitting of hearing systems in authentic practical exercises and to develop their skills in the earmold laboratory on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The two-day practical training course on the L\u00fcbeck Campus Hearing Acoustic can be booked for a participation fee of 515 euros.
