More than 138 hearing aid acousticians who passed their examinations this winter, have obtained their journeyman\/woman\u2019s certificate. The festive award ceremony took place at the Colosseum in L\u00fcbeck on February 1, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The completion of the apprenticeship with the journeyman\/woman\u2019s certificate marks an important milestone on the career path. The graduates of this winter\u2019s examination were therefore duly recognized for their achievements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eberhard Schmidt, President of the Federal Guild of Hearing Acousticians (biha) welcomed the young professionals, their friends and families as well as honorary guests to the event at the Kolosseum zu L\u00fcbeck and performed the traditional craft graduation ceremony. \u201eThey are now empowered to improve the quality of life of people with hearing impairments. This comes with a huge responsibility, but if they manage to do this and succeed, the feeling is indescribable! \u201c, said Eberhard Schmidt and spoke from his own experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jens Rie\u00dfen, Director of Studies and Head of the national vocational school for hearing aid professionals (LBS), congratulated the graduates on their journeyman\/woman\u2019s certification, which heralds the next steps on their career path. \u201eIn our craft they have excellent future prospects and can find fulfilment in this profession for the next 40 years\u201c, said Jens Rie\u00dfen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

J\u00f6rn Kr\u00fcger, Director of the Schleswig-Holstein Institute for Vocational Education (SHIBB), held the laudatory speech. He congratulated the journeymen and women in hearing acoustics on completing their challenging vocational training. He praised the professional exam preparation in their training companies and on Campus Hearing Acoustics. \u201eWith the L\u00fcbeck, a unique vocational training centre has been created over many years of constructive and successful cooperation, which combines vocational training and continued education with academic training and research in an outstanding way, said J\u00f6rn Kr\u00fcger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Christian Willam, Chairman of the examination committee announced the results of this winter\u2019s journeyman\/woman exams and honoured the best candidates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Many thanks went to the training companies, teachers at the vocational school, lecturers at the Academy of Hearing Acoustics and examiners who contributed to the training of new hearing aid professionals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201eHearing Acoustics is a dynamic and evolving craft. Precision, diligence, customer-orientation and openness are just as important as the willingness to continuously develop professionally and personally \u201c, was Eberhard Schmidt\u2019s career advice for the freshly graduated hearing aid professionals.  He motivated them to continue to use the advance education and training options at the L\u00fcbeck Academy for Hearing Acoustics in the future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
